mexican riveria cruises

What is the best time of year to take a mexican riveria cruise?
Would January be too cold?

January would be a good time to go to Mexico. IMHO, November thru mid May is perfect.

I agree with Hanna!

We were in Cozumel during the Super Bowl many years ago, and during half-time, I went swimming in the sea. I know Cozumel is not in the Mexican Riviera, but it's the same latitude and the weather is very much the same.

Trust me when I say you can get a very nasty sunburn in January down there!

It's a great time to go; not alot of crowds, no kids on the ship, prices are good, and the weather is great.

The first day or two may be on the cool side, but once you get closer to Cabo, the temperature should definitely get to the 80s. Same thing on your return to LA. This will be the situation even through May, and maybe even June. Be sure to bring an umbrella as you may get rain until you reach Mexico.

We have cruised to Mexico several times in January.
The first and last days while at sea can be a little chilly but otherwise it is a great time to go. Pricing is usually very good.

Cabo was nice in late November and late April, the two months we did the MRC. Prices are good at that time too.
