Hi all,

Fiance and I are looking to book a 14 day Mediterranean legends cruise this Nov 14th for our honeymoon(and conincidentally my birthday!). I think were pretty well decided on a concierge level room, because theres not enough to make me want to spend the extra money on a sky suite.

Is there a place which has the best deals on cruises I should be looking at with Celebrity, or is it pretty much the same across the board? Currently not getting a whole lot of OBC or anything, and I want to make sure to get the best deal

So far, we have only seen the normal Celebrity prices, with a small bit of OBC and our gratuities paid for...can a better deal be had?

mrose - the price will be the same across the board generally. the difference between booking through the line and booking with a travel agent is that you will have more personal service with an agent, especially if you are not an avid experienced cruiser. there are even better deals out there but most likely they are rebating their commissions and you need to be careful. i recently had an issue where i sent a friend to the best price before i was an agent and they almost completely screwed up a 28 day cruise for them and they would not have been able to recoup their money either. while $50 obc is nice don't make your decision based on that when you are spending so much already.

For sure use a travel agent. if possible get refurals from members here, or friends, We have several TA's here Not only will you get a better deal, but if anything goes wrong you TA can fight for you

first off, Congrats!

I too recommend the use of a travel agent. As Sue stated, get a referral.

There are many more cruise lines than Celebrity out there to choose from. A good travel agent will ask you many questions to learn more about you to help suggest a line that is appropriate for you.

I would be very leary of any agency discounting Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, as those agencies do NOT allow discounting, or rebating at all...
