Be VERY careful!!! If you're talking Princess and a U.S. agent tries to book you, it could end up costing you ALOT!

As I said, there are no problems with other cruise lines - any U.S. agent can book a cruise for someone in Europe - that's not a problem. But if a U.S. agent says they can book a European on a Princess cruise, you're asking for trouble.

It's possible you might not get caught, but if you are, the consequences can cost you a great deal of money, not to mention the embarrassment of being denied boarding.

    Thanks Pete, I think

So why is this??? why does Princess not allow us to book with you guys???

But, if lets say friends in the States wanted to purchase the cruise for us as a gift. Would that be possible???

The policies are not based on who purchases the cruise, but the nationality of those traveling.

Wish I knew why Princess is such a pain in the a-- about this, but they are. Obviously, I don't agree with it, but unfortunately, not much we can do about it.

I do know they often offer Europeans specials that we can't get for our client. And sometimes those specials are really good. We were once on the Crown Princess doing a Southern Caribbean cruise and half the ship was full of Englanders. When I asked some of them about their special, they got back-to-back cruises (total of 14 days) plus airfare for less than I could get a 7-day cruise without airfare. Needless to say, they were traveling in groups to take advantage of that special!

I have heard that Princess sometimes offers better deals in Europe. I have yet to see them tho but I hope I will soon
But as long as they honor a price drop I will be fine.
