Talk to RCL again. Relate that your TA has been nasty and ask if you can transfer the booking either to a different agent or to RCL direct.

You should be able to get your electronic documents with your confirmation number directly from the RCL site, and those generally have luggage tags you can print and cut out. I would advise using clear packing tape on the entire sheet before cutting them out. That will help to keep the tags from ripping.

As a last resort, when you get to the pier, they will have luggage tags for you there. You would not be the first person to arrive with luggage tags that had gotten lost.

Steve, thanks for trying to help her out. This was just not a fair deal.
I hope she takes your advice.

I have been away, but, I can respond now, lol.

It is a shame that she didn't ask for advice on a Travel agent from people on here... there are plenty of us with good morals. I also don't charge fees to change categories, or price adjustments etc. How crazy would I be to be rude to a client? That is just plain bad business!
After final payment the cruiseline really won't work with people allowing transferring of bookings...
The reason most of the agencies that won't allow the price adjustments is that they get less commission due to the lower price... but I personally feel that will come back to bite them in the butt!
I would definitely stay on the agency to take care of you though!
    Good luck...

I have been on the RCL website numerous times and don't see where I can get my electronic docs. I have my number and it does show paid in full. No, I will not use a travel agent I can't actually see ever again.

How close is your cruise? They just might not be available yet.

    From the RCL FAQ:
    Cruise Documents

Q: If I choose to receive electronic cruise documents, where can I download them?

A: If your cruise documents are available, you can access them through your reservation dashboard in your My Cruises Account. If your documents are not yet available, check back soon. You should also receive an e-mail with downloading instructions when your documents are ready.
Please don't lump all agents that you can't see face-to-face as bad. Both long distance and local TAs can be either good or bad. You just need to find one that works for you and establish a solid relationship.

Yes, they should. Is she registered on the Royal Caribbean web site? Has she added her confirmation number to her online account? Those things don't happen automatically.

If all the above is yes, or even if it is not, she should call Royal and ask for them to send her edocs via email. I cannot see any reason why they wouldn't do that.

Yeah, make sure your booking number is in your
royal caribbean account at Royal Caribbean International - Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines

You don't have to actually have a TA that you can see face to face to have a good TA... Most of my clients aren't local to me, lol...

    Steve,
    I'm thinking she hasn't registered.

I have a friend who has only been on two cruises and both were handled by a TA, totally. Registering and all. So maybe Pat doesn't realize she should be going on line to RC. We shall see.
