One negative to consider before booking the cruise is the cost of the airfare will most likely consist of two one-way fares. Make sure and price the cruise line airfare as well as independent airfare. One other suggestion, when booking the cruise make sure what airports are the most accessible to the embarkation and debarkation port. Sometimes the airports are not in the same cities as the ports.
Besides the higher cost of airfare, for my family, a big problem with repo cruises is the times of the year they are available. Until our daughter gets into college (and doesn't mind us traveling without her), we can only cruise when school is out. But then, that's an advantage for many others -- they want to go when there's fewer kids.
