cabin assignment

WE are booked on RC Magesty of the Sea April 6. Our cabin is an F1 # 5542. Any thoughts? Is it a good location? Quiet?

Your cabin is a port-side, oceanview cabin on a Sovereign-class ship.

I spent time on the Sovereign of the Seas (until last October, the flagship of the Sovereign class), and can tell you that you will find the room small, yet pleasant.

Sovereign-class ships were designed so that the staterooms are in the front half of the ship, with all of the noisy locations aft of the atrium, so you will not have ANY late-night noises to contend with (unless some fellow passengers decide to be noisy as the head back to their rooms... I never had a problem).

Being on deck 5 actually makes getting around easier, as the aft decks are staggered between the fore decks (think split-level house) and the restaurants and bars are on the next two decks down, so you are really only 1.5 decks away from MOST of the inside activity.

All in all, if you like a ship that has room, yet feels cozy, the Majesty will deliver in spades!

Hope that helps!

Mandy, I noticed in the picture the sheer number of drink cans. They really think you are going to drink all of that?

This should cabin should be pretty quite. You have cabins above and below you. Not that far to central elevators, so easy access to differnt decks with the added advantage of having the casino on the same deck.

I hate most ship's cola policies. My own personal sore area that I like to continuously fuss about.
