    Canada and New England Cruise

We are looking into a canda and new england cruise in September---which one would you recommend? They all go to about the same places-- the only place we have been to is Boston, which is one of the ports.

Don't know how far north you want to go but on our TA last year the ship docked at St. Johns Newfoundland and at Halifax. Both were phenomenal places.

Before recommending a cruise line to any client, these are some of the questions that I ask:

    What is your age group?

    Have you cruised before?

    If so, what cruise lines?

Which cruiseline did you like best?

What other types of vacations have you taken?

Is this a family cruise with children, or are you looking to travel with more adults than children?

But if you are looking for a personal recommendation, my favorite is Royal Caribbean.

    Hope this helps.

Princess and RCCL are both very active on the Canada/New England cruises. I've seen ships from both lines in port in Saint John, New Brunswick during the summer and fall. If your favourite line is Princess, go for it. If I was doing that cruise ( I can drive to most of the ports they visit up here) I'd be booking with Princess.

I agree with daWoods on this one. Joe, which ports do you think would be the best?

The Princess cruise does a roundtrip from NYC. However, the Holland America Line has a ship that goes from Boston to Montreal. You would need to arrange transportation to Boston and back from Montreal. This cruise hits additional ports that the others do not.

    Hope this information helps.
