Talking Ever invited to a suite party?

I think that several of our roll call members will be having suite parties. We've never been fortunate enough to be invited to one before.

I feel funny going empty handed.

And since it's a cruise, it's not like I can bring liquor from home to take to the party.
    What is proper "cruise etiquette?"

I have never been invited to a suite party either. However, I am planning on having one during our next cruise.
I dont know if there is any "proper cruise etiquette". I would do what I normally do when I get invited to friends house for a party or dinner; bring a bottle of wine or some sweets or flowers. I belive, since its a party a bottle of wine would be the best option.
I would feel funny going empty handed, too.

We have been to many, and since like you say, its on a cruise, bringing something to them is not expected nor protocol for them. Those that host the suite parties do it because they enjoy having guest come join them for a drink. They will have the ship provide the booze & hors d'Oeuvres. Trust me, showing up is gift enough for them.

However if it really bothers you, perhaps you could bring a 'Thank You" card from home to deliver to their cabin the next day

Ziggy hit it right on the head. A thank you note would be very much appreciated by your host.

If I don't know the answer I'm fairly certain I can find it.

Great idea! We never thought of taking thank you cards along with us as we like to pack light but that will be added to our list.
