carnival website question

hello
i have a question on booking a cruise through carnival. my question is i have 4 people going and every time i state the number of people it takes me to listings of rooms and categories. so i pick like room 4A category but it does not mention the other 2 people will have seperate rooms or will they be in the same room as us if we book? we want 2 seperate rooms and this is confusing and i am looking to book 4 people for sepetmber 09 leaving baltimore to go to bahamas on carnival pride under 3 grand

Hi Heather, it's not confusing. You have to book each cabin separately. Don't enter 4 for the number of people, leave it at 2, complete the booking process for that cabin, then start another booking process for the other 2 people for the second cabin.
Carnival's site is having technical difficulties right now, so try again tomorrow.

As was mentioned, you need to book 2 separate cabins - you cannot put in there that you are 4 people as it will provide you with only those cabins that hold 4 people.

But it's really better to book with an agent than directly with Carnival. You'll pay the exact same price and the agent will be able to find out if you can get 2 cabins side-by-side. Plus, if there are any specials that come along that will reduce the pricing, they'll get it for you - whereas if you book with Carnival, they will not tell you of any price reductions. You want somebody to look after your best interest instead of booking with the cruise line who is only interested in their best interest.

I would agree with Ken and Pete that you need to book each one separately. There are some cabins that take four passengers so maybe the booking engine thinks that's what you want to do.

If you want cabins close to each other, you would need to take to a live person such as a TA. And if you get cabins in close proximity (if that's want you want), it'll be best to mark your bookings "no upgrade". Else you risk Carnival moving one or both of your parties.
