Need hotel with cruise parking in Mobile

We are 4 adult, family members cruising on the Holiday 12/15. 2 of us are driving from Atlanta, 2 of us are driving from Tampa. We would love to all share 1 hotel room on the 14th at a hotel that will allow us to park our 2 vehicles for the 5 day cruise and offers a shuttle to/from the port. Since parking at the port would be $75 each and we still need a place to stay on the 14th, we figure we might be able to save some money if we can find a decent hotel with a shuttle. Appreciate any advice. Thanks.

I did a search and didn't come up with one but I did find this one!!

Holiday Inn MOBILE Hotels | MOBILE-DWTN/HIST. DISTRICT | At a Glance

Very close to Mobile bay, a call to the hotel would tell you if there is a free shulttle to the port. See Transportation, Also there is no free parking, but there is a parking garage right across the street from the hotel that charges only $6 a day to park!!

    Parking
    • Parking Available / 64 Spaces
    • County parking garage directly across the street $6 per day fee.
    • Car Parking - Registered Guests Only
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

    samiam,

aboard. I hope that hotel w/parking recommended by Sue helps out. If there is someone out there with a better choice, they will show up soon.

We all hope you have a great time on your cruise. Let us know some of the things you saw and did upon your return.

(great name, by the way. Good children's book, good movie, and a great band out of Berkeley, CA)

    Have a great trip,

    tim

I would try the motels in Daphne, its on the east side of the bay. Alot of new motels there and also at hwy 161 Spanish Fort. Thats at an outdoor mall. Its about 12miles to the boat. Both areas nice and safe. You might try leaving one car and driving the other. The price difference on the motel in Mobile would pay for your parking. I live around the area and have went 3 times on the holiday. It can be cool that time of year and it seems cooler on board so pack warm and summer clothes. We came back once in Jan and had ice on deck in Mobile.
