    I need a comparsion

We are currently booked on a 3 day cruise for our anniversary on the Sovereign of the Seas. We could go on the Sensation 3 day which leaves one day earlier.

I was wondering if someone could compare the two ships for me? I have looked at both ships.

We will have our children with us so that is a biggie for a decision.

I also know if I take the Sensation I will need to be off 2 days verse 1 day.

    Hmmm, good question...

I have been on the Sovereign, loved it...my kids loved it!

I have been on the Fantasy, sister of the Sensation and had a great time and would sail either again!

Unless the Sensation is a bunch cheaper...just stay with the Sovereign...

    Sheila, Canarymoon, loves the Sovereign!

Thanks Dolores. I have been on the Soverign and we loved it. Jeff and I went on the ship before it was refrubed. I am actually excited about going on her again. lol

After making this thread I asked the kids what they thought. I laid it all out to them, pros and cons for them to see.

This is what I told them, the SOS has a Johnny Rocket's, Serrentos, Ben and Jerry's. They have pools and hot tubs. With the SOS we would have a day at Nassau and a day at Cocoa Cay. I also reminded them Cocoa Cay has the water slide and the water park like Labeedee has.

Then I told them with Sensaton we will have a slide and a putt putt coarse. They have pizza, salads and sandwiches besides the buffet. We would have a day at Nassau and a sea day.

My kids are such RCCL fans. They both agreed the SOS is the ship they want to go on.

I think I did a decent job on comparsion on the ships.

I think if the Celebration opens up for Feburary 14 we would think about it because it would be a shorter drive, the kids would get to "touch" the bridge and go down the channel.

You made a great choice. I had some clients last month on the Celebration and they came back complaining of long lines, cabins not made up on time and much needed renovation. Another couple and their kids came of the Sovereign last week and totally loved it. Again remember, each person has their own perception of a good time, but I would stick with the Sovereign.
