yes, NAMVET, if you booked directly with Carnival...you can transfer the booking to a TA. It doesn't have to be one close to, that is up to you.

As for switching to a TA from Carnival, not a problem. Just let Carnival know you want to transfer it and then let the TA know so they can contact Carnival and complete the transaction. As was stated by Dolores, it does not need to be to someone in your area.
