    Benefits of a TA

When TA's are with a certain agency, do they get benefits other then reduced travel. Ex like health ins, 401K?
What is the avg time a TA spends with one agency? Are do they become wall fixtures with one Co.?

I can only answer in my personal experience...I am an independent agent, therefore I don't get any health care, 401K, etc. like regular employees get.

Average time an agent spends with one agency...I would say entirely up to the agent and agency.
When I started I was with a small host agency, that offered great training, and help learning the industry and the ropes. I went on a ship inspection and spoke with other agents, all from different hosts...and one lady encouraged me to try her host...or at least check them out. I saw benefits of a larger host agency and joined last October 23rd.
There are many different options, and people have to find what works best for them.

Thanks for answering that one Dolores.

I'm in about the same boat, pun intended.

Over the last 12 years, I have worked for or with
about 6 different agencies. For one reasion or another,
we failed to see eye to eye on one thing or another.
I feel very comfortable where I am right now and have
no plans to change hosts any time soon.
