Thread: For Cruise TA's

I am posting this to several forums;

I know RCCL is leaving Galveeston at the end of Aug with the exception of the Voyager from Dec thru April 08. Does anyone know if Carnival as well as the other few lines that are sailing from Galveston are leaving also? I have heard that Corpus Christy will be supporting a cruise line in the near future...

Inquiring minds want to know.

No. RCCL will stop cruising out of Galveston only for a few months at the end of this year to do a 21 Million Dollar renovation of their cruise terminal to be able to accept the Voyager size ships. From what I understand, they will have two (2) gangways to load and unload passengers.

This should not affect Carnival in the least!

(P.S. - I am not a TA; but I did stay at a Holiday Inn once!)
