Oasis life boat

I am new to this site and trying to fumble my way through posting the following:
I have seen 2 interior pictures of the Oasis life (rescue) boats. It appears to have many 3 leged fiberglass type tables with markings on top of them. The floor/walk area also has markings on it as well which would indicate where a person would sit (on the floor area) with their legs in the corresponding (parallel) well area.

Any pictures or ideas how they situate the cruise passengers so they get 370 people in a single boat?

Thanks
Capt. Ralph

Welcome to our friendly cruise community!

Have you looked at the thread we have here about the Oasis? Here is the link --> Oasis of the Seas Photos - Cruise Line Fans: Cruise Forum, Reviews and Chat Fr

Interesting question Capt. Ralph! Not a clue! But some of our other members who have been following her progress may have some thoughts.

Welcome to Cruise Line Fans, Capt. Ralph!

I'm not too sure myself how they manage to get 370 souls into one single boat.

However they are much larger than the regular lifeboat on current ships. Before they carried a maximum of 150, so Oasis has doubled that. They are much bigger, I believe they are around 16 metres in length. So they are a ship of their own!

I'll try and find some photos for you...

Here's one photo of the exterior. I don't know if it's any use to you.

Welcome to CLF.

If each of those marks is a "seat" then there will not be much space between people. Don't think I would want to be in there with 369 other people under the hot sun.

I wonder how you know if you are a blue triangle or a yellow circle?

Maybe the blue triangles are crew and the yellow circles for passengers?
