I've only been on two cruises, but had no problem whatever. I was on several smaller boats, usually going to Catalina and was once one of only two non-crew who did not get seasick due to extremely rough seas.

Of course, I have over 5,500 flight hours, usually with a student next to me and have done much spin training with them with no problems. I and my son also can be in the wildest roller coaster out there and discuss the coaster's moves during the ride. Guess I'm just lucky...

My Signature I have the body of a God...too bad it's Buddha...

I think you are very lucky....as well as "experienced" in unusual movement.

Funny how some professional sailors get sea sick...even some of the famous ones in history.

I suffer dreadfully from Lido Withdrawal Syndrome [LWS]. The disease manifests itself within 30 minutes after I've left the ship for the last time. The first symptom is a craving for coffee. Other disturbances follow.

Happily, it's an acute disorder and not a chronic one.

I have had some feelings of movement or swaying that would just come up occasionally the first couple of days after a cruise. It would feel like the ship moved only I was on dry land. Never paid munch attention to it and it never botheres me. Sometimes it gave me the giggles. Haven't had that happen for several years now.

That's exactly what happens to me AFTER a cruise ... never on the ship!

I get this every single time I have cruised. It usually starts with the first port of call for me and every one after that in addition to when I come home for about a week or two.

DH says I get my money's worth out of my cruises
