While my wife takes more pictures then anyone I know we still buy a few. We are selective and pick the best, but find they make nice additions to our trip albums. We are not big drinkers and only gamble a little, so we splurge and treat ourselves to some pictures, so far on the two cruises we spent 75-100 on each cruise.

We haven't been on any cruise where the photos were available for viewing on our cabin. And I am guilty of buying a lot of photos, so I wade through all those photos in the galley until I find ours. Must admit that I will buy most photos, as long as neither of us looks bad. Just another cost of cruising, and they add a lot to my scrapbooks.
we bought some on a special cruise when we met our cousin for the first time. Four of us had a formal together. Now it seems they are really expensive for what they are. They could lower the price by a factor of two or three and then they would sell way more and probably make more profit.
The photographers are good. I never refuse to have one taken, I very rarely buy them anymore though.
However some of my fellow cruisers may want to so i feel it's a public service I am doing

This last cruise on NCL Gem we spotted the photographer during a very quiet time in the Atrium area where he had a white background for photographs. We had five taken all of which we were immensely pleased with when they were printed; so much so we took them all and got the 8x10 prints all for $99 dollars including a a double presentation folder. Compared what we we would pay for that back home it was excellent value and something we just wouldn't have done otherwise!
Take my digital to the photo display and take photos of the photos.
:O)
But that is explicitly forbidden is it not ? It was on all the ships I have been on ?

That is how my G/F feels.. Since I buy most of her drinks (and that is not a lot at all), her bill is low. She loves photos esp of us, so she goes nuts...

Why buy a remote ? surely all digitals come with a timer delay feature ?
