I had been thinking of booking a Princess cruise in December. There had been a reduced deposit of only $100 pp. I waited too long. Now they want $900. Hate to tie up that money all year.

If you really want to take that cruise -- book it -- and look at it this way -- that will be $1800 less you will have to pay at final payment.

Book it and enjoy!!

That's how we booked our Princess cruise in Oct 07, for Sept 08. If you can wait and watch, I would think the offer will come around again....

Even with the economy Barb, ships are filling fast!! I would book and pay less at final payment and at least know I got the cabin I wanted!! As it gets closer prices are going up not down!!

I know I will be having one within the next few weeks....they last for a week and come around every few weeks.

Barb, have there been any good deals since you first posted your disappointment about not booking when the price was right? Have you got a cruise booked for December?

I have been looking online to see if the pirce drops for my August cruise. I'm checking for myself and some friends who want to go along. The price keeps rising, but who knows, maybe we'll all get lucky and they'll reduce prices or offer some OBC.
