Port Charges

I was told that Carnival includes their port charges in the price that they give you.. but how come Norweigan and others don't? NCL is crazy when it comes to them.. makes me not even want to sail them!

They may if you book direct, but a lot of TA's and internet sites don't include port charges or fees in their advertised price either!! If you get a new TA always ask for a full price quote!!!

My Signature Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Sue is correct... "Always ask for the bottom line price".. Hardly any internet sites and even some cruise line sites, don't give you the bottom line.. Fed. taxes will fluctuate with the price of the "cruise only price".. Port taxes/charges will also vary, depending on the ports visited..... Always insist on it, as they know.. Don't let them tell you they won't know until it is booked....."Buyer Beware"

If air is part of your cruise package.........make sure the air taxes are included in the price as well.

Anytime I have priced a cruise, I've made sure they were included, no matter who I was pricing it thru.

I've been having this same problem with airline websites. You think you found a flight that is $20 cheaper and actually it ends up higher after they add in the airport charges and the taxes. A little frustrating.

When I quote cruises I always include port charges and taxes. Some of the cruise websites don't.
