Thread: Just Back - Singapore to Hong Kong - Azamara Quest

Mike and I have just returned from a fantastic cruise to SE Asia. It was amazing. We were on the Azamara Quest 2-20-10 through 3-6-10 --- Singapore; Bangkok, Thailand; Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, and Hanoi, Vietnam; and Hong Kong, China. Our in depth review with loads of pictures can be found at Home Page . Bangkok was my favorite port. You've got to read about our adventures in the Train Market. Short version of the adventure in the review; more detailed description in the captions in the photo album. It was our first time on Azamara, but won't be our last. I have never met a more personable captain than Capt. Carl Smith. Even Capt. Bang of the NOS doesn't come close, and I'm a big fan of his. Anyway, please be patient with the download time if you're on dial up. There are lots of pictures. I hope you enjoy our humble effort.

Oh WOW, your pictures and story are fantastic. What a Great trip! Tiger beer is pretty good, one I’ve sampled more than once the past few years. Yes, thank you for sharing your adventure.

Carol, I can' thank you and Mike enough for your review and pictures on your "Home Page". My friend and I are going on the same cruise next February. We were already excited about the trip, but now it's going to be even harder to wait!

I've already sent an email to Tong, hoping she will be available for us. I will also be in touch with Ha for Viet Nam.

We were on the Quest last November, cruising from Athens to Rome, via Turkey, Egypt, & Cyprus. We loved the ship and the crew. We had a different Captain and Cruise Director and they were wonderful.

Anyway, thanks to all of you for your kind words. Next Feb. 2011 will be So. America inc. Iguaza Falls. I'm excited about that. And a river cruise Paris to Prague in Aug. 2011. So, as I always say, "Stay tuned!"

I did a 4 night cruise on Elation from San Diego, then 10 nights on Radiance right after that so I was gone 14 days from 3-29 till 4-12, right when you first posted.
