Aruba Beach Break - MooMba

A 4-Hour tour offered by the cruise line which basically was transportation and a beach chairs at MooMba ... which was all we wanted.

The open-air banana bus was roomy and rather fun. Along the way we had a "photo-opt" at California Lighthouse.

MooMba is located in the hotel area of Palm Beach. There are some nice beaches along Palm Beach but this location was NOT one of those. Entering the water was very uneven with drop-offs and the bottom was covered with shells. Glad we had our water shoes!

Extremely CROWDED! This was not because of our tour or a tour from another cruise line. It was mostly condo people. A nice couple who had rented a condo across from the beach for two months told us they bought long-term passes there to use the chairs and restrooms ... and most others in condos did the same.

There weren't enough chairs. Many were broken. No place to rent umbrellas and there were very few areas of shade. We moved from our beach chairs to a table in the covered restaurant/bar since we were buying beer and it was more comfortable.

We do NOT wish to go back to MooMba again either on a ship's tour or OnOurOwn by taxi!

DePalm Island or a catamaran tour are much better choices in Aruba.
