CCL Passengers detained on Antigua
Best be on your p's and q's when visiting beautiful Antigua. Some cruisers found out the hard way that you do't mess with the police there.
Six passengerss from the cruise ship Carnival Victory were involved in an altercation and were apparently still in an Antiguan jail at sailing time.
Cost them a bundle, too.

It's certainly a good warning to establish The TOTAL Cost of going and returning prior to getting into a taxi.
All of us who have traveled (even... especially on business) know we will be ripped off from time to time by taxi drivers (going the long way, etc.) .... BUT .... it's BEST to agree and get back ... even in the USA.
What these cruisers did was totally dumb!
