We love Antigua! It has everything we want -- lovely "sugar white sand" beaches, warm blue water, and fun sailing catamarans!

Been to Antigua 3 or 4 times, but that has been way back in the 80's, lots of changes since. A must see is nelson's dock yard, that's where most of the around the world sails ends, at Nelson dock yard.

We weren't fond of Antigua. I found it rather dirty and depressing, but that was just in the shopping area. We didn't venture far from the port, so I'm sure if we had, we would have found it to be nice. Afterall, if Lulu says its nice, it must be

That's what I'm anxious to see.

We love Antigua -- have been there a few times and visited Nelson's Dock Yard a couple of times.

Would love to go back there again.

I was there a long time ago. The ship had engine problems and we arrived hours late. You couldn't really do much with the time limitation and the nicer looking shops were all closed. I assumed they thought the ship was not going to make it.

My husband decided to check out a bar. I remember it was on a second floor. I was going to look around at some of the shops and meet him back there. Well, I didn't see much and went back to the bar. He was standing outside. He said the place couldn't be described and it didn't even qualify as a "dive". Needless to say he didn't even get one drink.

We walked around and went down a side street. The side walk was made of wooden boards and guess what was running underneath it. Raw Sewage. We went to the casino and had a couple of drinks.

Although I would never set foot into this town again, I would like to go back and spend time at one of the beaches.
