I did not know that it was three 70 lb bags, I knew it as more, but thank you for sharing that info. I really would like to keep packing to a minimum because we just don't want the hassle of keeping track of everything!

As for formals, I have been taking a long black skirt and different dressy tops. Separates are easier to pack than dresses, and this way I have more choices of what to wear. For your first formal, you will get a corsage since you are in a suite, and if you have a couple of tops to choose from, you can pick the one that matches the flower the best. But if you have one gown that makes your feel wonderful, take that and wear it as often as you want!

I plan on bringing a lot of mix and match clothes, probably a lot of black and white with some colored tops to mix it up. I do have a tahari gown that I really love and only have worn once, but I have lost some weight and it is a bit loose on me. It's brilliant red, I'd bought it for my B-day a couple years ago!

First and Business Class passengers may check up to three bags up to 70 lbs each at no charge on Delta and Delta Connection operated flights.

Keep the weight off and have it altered. If you love it, you need to wear it!
