My concern is the transportation. It states a "van." We had a bad experience with a "van" in Nassau (couldn't see) and don't want a repeat, especially at $219 per person!
Any information would be appreciated.

Although I've not done this particular tour, I've had clients do it and they loved it! And while some may say they would not spend that much money, sometimes you have to pay to these things - just a matter of what you want to do. This is a 12-1/2 hour excursion through some amazing country. And if you've never been to Alaska, you really have to take some of these excursions.
We spent $650 to do the helicopter/dog sled tour in Juneau and perhaps others may say this is too much to spend, it was the most amazing excursion ever! It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure and we had an incredible experience - we must have taken over 150 pictures on this one adventure.
So, what one person considers to be too much money for an excursion, another will tell you that you can't put a price on exploring such a magnificent country.
As for comparing a van in Nassau against a Princess van in Alaska, it's like comparing apples and oranges. So just because you had a bad experience with Nassau does not mean it will be repeated. The vans Princess uses are very nice & comfortable with plenty of room and nothing like what you found in Nassau.
On another note, you might also look at some independent excursion companies and see what's available - often times you can find a cheaper excursion doing the exact same thing as the cruise line offers and it's usually alot less crowded. For example; the helicopter/dog sled tour we took was $425 through the cruise line and $325 through a company we use. It was the exact same excursion and we only had 4 people instead of 8 with the cruise line.
