Thread: Haines-car rental

We are going to be in Haines in June & are interested in renting a car and driving the haines Highway into the Yukon. Has anyone done this & do you have any suggestions on how to arrange it?

We have been to Alaska 5 times, but never rented a car. How long will you be in Haines?

Just for the day! We aarrive at 7:00am and depart at 9:00pm. We are on HAL- Zandaam

Well, that is a nice long day in port! Some only stay 1/2 a day and that's not long enough to do what you plan.

Hopefully, you will get some answers today.

I hope so. I'm the type that likes to have all of my ducks in a row way ahead of time.
