Can I find out from the big cruisers what to expect regarding weather for late May.
I will be sailing out of Seatle Washington the 23 of May 2008 returning the 30 and I need information as to what clothing to pack.
Thanks!![]()

You'll hear the same thing from everyone; wear layers.
It can be cold and wet or warm and sunny - on the same day. Start with a undershirt, put on another shirt, then a sweater, then a water-proof rain jacket. Carry a backpack with your extra stuff so you can put on and take off as necessary. If you plan to take an excursion where you go onto a glacier, it'll be cold, so you'll have to pack accordingly or wear extra layers - don't forget gloves. If you don't have a pair already, get a good pair of hiking shoes that are water-proof; they are invaluable and one of two pair of shoes we took on our 2-week cruisetour last year - the other being a good pair of walking shoes (sneakers).

Bring something to wear for the rain too. A slicker, an umbrella.
I've been to Seattle three times and love that city. The last time was hubby's and the girl's first time there and they really enjoyed it. Hopefully you'll get some sightseeing time before and/or after.
