Princess certainly does Alaska right. On the day of your glacier cruising, make sure you're outside (balcony if you have it or an open deck). There will be a naturalist onboard narrating what you are seeing.

As for the weather, we went in August. But I would suggest you bring layers. That way, if it warms up -- which probably doesn't happen much in May -- you won't be overheated.
