I've always heard of people who complain about these huge Alaskan mosquitos. I've seen Travel Channel specials where they talk about the Alaska mosquito. But in my 3 trips to Alaska, I've never seen them.

Is this more of an inland experience? For those who have gone to Denali National Park, are there mosquitos there in the summertime?
