Jim shall I list last nights reasons?

1. first night off after 6 nights of 11pm to 7:30am stocking.

2. first week of working 3rd shift. I usually work the 1st shift 6am to 2:30pm

3. text message from daughter are u awake? Needed to call and hear the engagement news. Had been asleep 30 minutes slept 4 hours the morning before. Talked on the phone til the cell phone went dead.

4. couldn't sleep without checking some stuff online. Airline tickets.... finish my fruing...... Looking at patterns since she wants me to make the dress.

5. hubby left for work at 6 am and daughter at 7:15 and here I am still on the computer after I sent out an email with a pic of the couple and engagement news to a few friends and to family.

6. I work at 11 tonight but then off again after that. So do I really want to get much sleep when I will have two days off after that unless they did give me more hours that I requested so I can cruise and pay for a wedding.

7. I could add more but this isn't the right forum.

Whew. sorry for the essay. Here is the pic of the couple. Daughter is 23 this is college graduation picture. BTW I did say a cruise would make a great honeymoon trip.

Did they ever catch the people who did this?

I've done that stretch (along the Somalian coast) and it's not safe. They were insane to think they could cruise so close to land and not be threatened. It's one of the most dangerous coastlines in the world. They should have been more aware of that.

There are certain parts of the world that have always been unsafe, and it's up to the ship's crew (and captain) to keep the ship safe. I fault the captain, but feel that they reacted well to the situation that unfolded.

I still think they should have been further out to sea...there really isn't even much to see around there. The Horn is interesting, but c'mon...it's not that great.

I've included some photos from my trip around the Horn as attachments to this post.
