Thread: Do you buy the onboard photos?

Personally I think they are way overpriced, but they can catch some good memories.

The only time we buy pictures onboard is when we take a nice family portrait on formal night. Other than that we never buy pictures (unless there's an unusually good picture).

My wife and I always buy the picture from formal night. It is something to look back on as we don't get dressed up like very often!

We have a number of ships photos from our early cruises. (back when the prices we a little more reasonable)

We then went a number of years without getting any.

Now that we are Diamond Members we get 2 each cruise at no charge.

Ridiculously overpriced....but yea, we have bought them!! On our last cruise, we got a very nice group picture and that was worth it!!

We feel the same, but we've bought several that really turned out good.. Our TA has given us a number of picture vouchers for booking with him. They account for most of them...

last cruise in Dec..............didn't buy any.............but when my friend and I sailed a couple of years ago....bought several, esp. since she lives in AZ and I in TN......................and they were great photos.

We've bought 1 formal picture...8x10 $22 ouch.

NOt as many as we used to........first cruise we bought every picture LOL!! Now 9 cruises later, we just did Hawaii for 2 weeks and didn't buy a single picture.........

the photos are not part of your trip or experience. They are somebody elses. Better to have a nice camera, and an alarm clock to catch the early sunrises on the ship.
