Is that what the going price is for a picture on a cruise ship? Well..since this will be our first and probably our last cruise for awhile, I know i'll probably end up buying at least 1 picture. It will probably be at formal night, because I know it's going to be a heck of a long time before I'll see my hubby all decked out..lol..

The price for an 8 x 10 formal picture is usually 20.00. They dont make different sizes for formal night, but at the ports they take your picture when you get off the ship, those are usually 6 x 8 and cost 14.00 - 16.00 approx.Originally Posted by hopingtocruise
If your not going to do it again for quite awhile, I think spending the money is worth itYou could always have someone take a shot of you and hubby with your own camera too

Last cruise I went out of my way to get as many photos taken as possible. How often do I have professional photographers standing around hoping to take my photo? I ended up with several very nice shots and bought quite a few of them. I thought it was worth the money since they were good photos and I was all dressed up.

Oh I also plan on taking my own digital camera....that's for sure..are cam corders allowed on board the ship?

Just an FYI, you can go to www.image.com, past cruisers, and get a release so that you can get your photo copied at places like Sam's Club!

Most of the time, we don't, however if there is a good formal portrait taken, we sometimes will...they got a great picture of us on a Harley on the Carnival Ecstasy on their Promenade deck!
