They usually run specials towards the end of the week. Usually, it's 20% off a treatment. The best days to go is during sea days, when you don't have to rush around trying to get off the ship.

The first couple of cruise I took I did not even go to the spa, but then I start going to spas here in Las Vegas and realized I really liked to be pampered so no I treat my self to at least one day if not more in the spa. I really like HAL's Green House Spas. I think they do a good job and yes the prices are a bit high but there are some in Vegas a lot higher. The cruise we have coming up in about 33 days I am thinking I will skip the massage because for Christmas I got several gift certificates for Massages here at home but I will definitely spend part of a day Thermal Suite and Thalassotherapy Pool that only cost $39.00 and is sooooo worth it

Like Yobxobx I wait till later in the week when the specials or "combos" are happening. I also use the Thassolatherapy pool.

On the Mariner they had a pick two, or pick 3 promotion happening. So one could have a mini massage, a full body salt or sugar scrub, and a facial. Oh my....so relaxing. I also got a great haircut and conditioning treatment there. Was it more than I would pay at home? Yep, but at home I don't have the kind of pampering that I got at the spa. I have promised myself to go more often. Like Lisa, I didn't go my first cruise...but now I know.

The body scrub was the most wonderful thing you can imagine, and I was a little reluctant at first. I was a glowing noodle afterwards.

I just use the steamroom/sauna/jacuzzi daily if time permits. A shower between the sauna and the jacuzzi, and then back again.

I try to do this late afternoon, when wife goes down to start getting ready.

A nice place to relax from the noise.
