    Cruise Line Corkage Fees

Does your cruise line charge a corkage fee for bottles of wine that you take to the dining room that you have brought on board?

If so, how much do they charge?

I think it's a rip-off myself.. Although, we brought a large bottle of wine for the table to share on the Maasdam, and the Ocean Princess and the waiter didn't charge us....

We heard a couple of people complaining on our last couple of cruises on HAL about the high corkage fee and the fact that they also had to pay a 15% gratuity as well.

Others have been lucky and had a good wine steward who didn't charge anything - just hoping for an extra tip at the end of the cruise.
