    Taking pictures of cruise photos

Everyone knows that the prices of the ship's photos has gone up considerbly the last few years.

Have you ever thought about using your own camera to take pictures of the photos in the ship's gallery - especially those very expensive formal ones?

Have you ever seen anyone do this??

I've seen people do it and I've seen people post those pics up on the net.

I've never thought of doing it personally though. I just think thats kind of silly.

I have never tried it but I did hear of one person who did it on the Dawn Princess this year and had their camera film confiscated by the photo shop people. I questioned it later and they said they have the right to do that and if it is digital they have the right to erase it. Hmmmmm!!! Something to think about eh?

I would never do it, but DH said the quality would not be very good for reproduction anyway

Haven't done that, but I have bought a picture and when I got home, scanned it and then copied it.
