Why don't the cruise line and the travel industry in general get together with the luggage manufacturers and make a standard size for what I would call "travel tags" and make a clear window near the top of the luggage for these. They could also make one for your name and address.
Then again, the luggage manufacturers have always been a bit slow in their R&D as we put a man on the moon long before they put wheels on their luggage  |
