As discussed, very sorry for the tardy reply.
For certain I wouldn't go to Brewer's Bay unless I were going for the day! Maybe, would consider going to Cane Garden Bay Beach since you have a 6 o'clock departure ....
Both Brewers' Bay Beach and Cane Garden Bay Beach have a place to get the "grab food" sort of thing. (The only thing we've ever done at either is drink.  )
