much younger than 10-11 and I think most of the time the water will be over their heads so not sure how they would step on one???? in my experience, the young ones are on the shoulders of the elders, or under supervision (?) on the boat. The big babies are carried...
but sometimes it would be shallow enough...
but I will defer to the maternal instincts. |
