Actually it's my Katrina anniversary cruise, and come hell or high water, New Orleans will survive cruise. I've cruised around hurricanes before and know the cruise lines avoid them. Actually kind of interesting - they post satellite shots in public areas letting you know that they are keeping an eye on the storm (and also perhaps the purser's desk gets weary of answering the same questions over and over).

I like a little rough water once in a while, but know not everyone else does.
