We have done the Mex Riv 10 times and Baja 3. Most of them have been in January but we have also done September, March and April. This year we are doing it in late October. On the January trips it is usually a bit cool the first and last sea days, not as cool the other months. I don't think we have ever had more that on rainy day on any of the trips.

We take these trips for the ships more that the ports. Living on the west coast it is much easier to get the port that spending a day traveling each way to and from Florida.

It is hard to get enough time off to cruise SA, TA or Europe so we take a lot of west coast repos. We have also done Alaska many times because it is so easy from here.
