Since Costa will be initiating sailings out of Mauritius, I thought it would be a good to have some information about this place.

Not having been there myself, I quickly found some info on the web. If anyone has actually been to Mauritius, or has some first hand information, Please post it!

One of the very first things I found out was that Mauritius was the only known habitat of the now extinct Dodo Bird!


I've always heard the phrase that something could "... go the way of the Dodo Bird," and now I know where those birds lived - in Mauritius!
