9 Beaches Resort and Bermuda.....ahhhhhh
We just returned from 9 glorious days on the Crown Princess and our final port of call was Bermuda. We took the 9 Beaches Resort excursion. I'm currently scheming a way to get back there, LOL!! After boarding our boat for the excursion, it took about 15 minutes to get to the resort. 9 Beaches is a beautiful, quiet place to just relax, soak up some rays, swim, jet ski, paddle boat, whatever water sports you want. The main beach there is quite nice and very clean. I would advise wearing water shoes though because there were stones and broken shells scattered throughout. The water is breathtakingly beautiful there. At the resort there is a bar and grill right on the beach where you can get drinks and food. Included with the tour is a $5 gift card good at the bar and grill. Try a pina colada there if you like them. They make them with dark rum and they were very yummy!! We did nothing more than relax while we were there so I can't comment on the prices for rentals of the water sports equipment. We were there for about 2 hours and then boated back to the pier. Princess docks at the west end and there are shops there but the prices seemed quite high. We were there on a Sunday so I don't know if more things would be open on another day. We heard a lot of things were closed on Sunday. Bermuda was our favorite stop on this cruise and we would love to go back some day. It was very clean and just perfect in every way. The weather the day we were there was beyond gorgeous. The water was cooler than it had been in Grand Turk but it was still very nice and not cold by any means.
