Now we have the opportunity to try Carnival again, thanks to hubby winning the Cruise Critic Sweepstakes.

Sailing on Carnival Glory out of Port Canaveral on 9/1 to the Eastern Caribbean. (keep your fingers crossed that we don't have a hurricane in Florida then!)

Hoping for a better cruise this time!
Char,
We cruised on Carnival the Miracle and the Spirit in the last 1 1/2 years and they were both much more serene that I had pictured. People having fun but didn't see a lot of drunks or roudy people and the ships were actually pretty quite.

The age group was leaning toward the 40s/50s/60s/70s crowd which surprised me both times.

I am sure that you will have a good time and enjoy your cruise. Carnival is making a big effort to change their image and it looks like it's working.

The party crowds seem to be on the shorter 5 day cruises.

We are sailing on Carnival's Miracle again in December for Christmas and New Year's Eve and Day. I will be very surprised if that is a quiet cruise...better not be for New Year anyway! I am looking forward to a rousing party on New Year's Eve (if I can stay awake that long---LOL)
