If the ship is coming from a foreign port and going to a US port or US territory port you must go through immigration.
San Juan and the US Virgin islands are US Territory.
You will only have immigration in Miami.
Miami to San Juan - US to US territory - Immigration - NO
San Juan to St. Thomas - US territory to US Territory - Immigration, NO
St. Thomas to Nassau - US territory to a foreign port - Immigration , NO
Nassau to Miami - Foreign port to US. Immigration ,Yes.

Ah, but you missed a port -- St. Maarten FOLLOWS St. Thomas. So I guess there will be immigration. Ah, at this point, who cares? If I have to get up early, so be it. I'll just go back to sleep after or take a nap! |
