You are correct about the free cruise on the May 20 sailing. What you did not cover what happened to the passengers on the cruise before the cancelled cruise for drydock. Those passengers missed over one half of their planned itinerary on a thirteen night cruise and the only real compensation was a $200 onboard credit per cabin. Granted there were some winners on the cancelled cruise but there were also some big losers on the May 7 Summit cruise and this problem still has not been resolved by Celebrity. I don't mean to dwell on this topic but I just wanted to post this to set the record straight on this point and give the whole story.
Can we please clarify!!! We have made the pods issue on Celebrity a sticky to discuss ONGOING problems, NOT consistantly rehash old ones!! If I remember 2007 when you first came on you said we were not fair about pointin out both sides, yet you insist on bringing up old stuff!! So Now I am going to ask you to stick with the new problems as they come up and how Celebrity is handling it now!! You do understand that all cruise forums get new members that only joint to bash a cruiseline, ot get all members to stop sailing a line because of a bad experience!! Being cruise lover we feel bad, but it will not stop us from cruising any line, it just makes members aware of wat happened and then make an informed decision to book them!! I do know what you are doing so please adjust your postings!!
