Reggie, I agree that for what these on-going pod problems have already cost Celebrity and they are continuing to be a huge financial burden on the bottom line, that the decision to "patch and go" does make one wonder.
The high cost, not only in dollars, but the reputation of the cruise line is also being tarnished by these recurring pod problems. It is indeed a mystery as to why the Constellation has had only one pod related problem and that was, as you mentioned, at the time of launch, while the other three Celebrity M-class ships seem to fail at least once every year.
