The "Dark Side" is the friendly name that some of the posters on this site have given our more usual posting site. This was done (and please correct me if I'm wrong) after the moderators deleted the Owls thread about 12 months ago without any warning, after it had been running for many many posts. Many of the posters were so upset by this that they mutinied over here. You may notice that many of the older names whom you used to see posting very often don't any more, but you will still find them over here. They still participate in rollcalls, but not on the main threads.
Sharon is also right in what she says about this site being "friendlier" as you can still have an opinion (whether everyone agrees with you or not) without being flamed agressively which can happen on the DS. |
