Hi, I have only done a full transit. If you have the time and money the full transit is better because you combine several areas of cruising in one. You get the Mexican Rivera, the Caribbean and the Panamal area. It usually takes 15-21 days. It does make for and interesting cruise. One I hope to do again in 2009.
