I had a large group on Mercury to Alaska sailing from SF May of '03.
The last night was really special and as we were getting up from the table after dinner, we were all hugging the waiters and assistants. That was a very touching moment. One of the assistant waiters was on Infinity last December and I heard his unmistakable laugh in the atrium as I boarded the ship. I didn't see him, but yelled out "Tri, is that you?" He ran over with the widest grin, remembering me instantly from a cruise over 2 and 1/2 years earlier, even remembering my name as I remembered his.
