You have to remember that some people like to complain about the smallest things. The Galaxy is about 10 years old, so no it's not big like the newer ships, and yes there is probably some wear and tear, but we all show a little wear and tear as we get older. 
I read a post from someone who just got off the Galaxy and they said the ship is as beautiful as it always has been. |
